Beads

I have a preference for using Swarovski crystal beads.  Swarovski are made in Austria.  They have a beautiful sparkle, crisp lines and are available in a wide range of colours and shapes.  They are a superior quality bead and allow the creation of beautiful pieces of jewelry.  If you are within Sarnia area, I have bead colour samples for viewing to enable a perfect colour selection.

There are many types of beads available in addition to Swarovski crystal, such as Czech glass beads.  The range of Czech glass beads exceeds over 200 different colours, depending on the size, which allows for an astounding number of colour combinations.

For pre-designed pieces, the bead type is listed.  For designed pieces, the bead type will be discussed at the design stage and will best reflect the look that is needed for the design.

Metals

Jewelry can be made with a wide variety of different metal types.  I usually use silver plated hooks and findings, however this can be altered if desired.  Pieces can be made in sterling silver, silver filled, white gold plated and gold plated.  Charms are usually pewter or silver plated.

Metal allergies can be catered for.  Please discuss with me any allergies at the order stage.
